Questions about garment printing, embroidery, file formats, minimum quantities or delivery times?
Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about Stoff³.
Which file format do you need?
Ideally a fully vectorized file — PDF, SVG or AI, preferably with all fonts converted to paths. That keeps your design losslessly scalable and suitable for every printing technique. Alternatively, we accept high-resolution PNG files (at least 300 DPI, ideally with a transparent background). For embroidery, vector data is especially important because we use it to create the stitch file (digitizing) — but we can also take care of the vectorization for you.
Which products can you print on?
We decorate T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, crop tops, blankets and socks — yes, even socks can be printed on request — as well as a wide range of other garments such as polo shirts, jackets, caps, snapbacks, beanies, bags and backpacks. You can send in your own garments or we can source the products for you. Just ask if you have a specific product in mind. Stoff³ stands for top-quality embroidery in Kassel, Germany, and first-class garment printing.
Is there a price list?
No, because prices depend on several factors: the number of pieces, the design size, the chosen decoration technique (print, embroidery, flex, etc.) and the number of decorated areas (e.g. front and back). We will prepare a free, individual quote for you within 24 hours. Just get in touch!
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No — we decorate from 1 piece with no minimum order quantity. Whether it’s a one-off just for you or a large run of 1,000+ pieces: we produce in-house and adapt to your requirements. For larger quantities you benefit from attractive volume pricing.
Do you also print/embroider baby items?
Yes! We also decorate bodysuits and children’s clothing, provided the material is suitable for the chosen technique. With baby items we pay particular attention to the choice of decoration method — embroidery and DTF printing work well here. Tell us the product you have in mind and we’ll advise you.
Can I send in my own clothing?
Yes, that’s possible. You can mail your own garments to us or drop them off in person in Kassel (please arrange an appointment beforehand). Depending on the printing technique there are certain material requirements — for flex/flock printing, for example, the fabric must be heat-resistant up to 160–180°C. If in doubt, just ask before sending.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship worldwide — with the exception of crisis regions and countries under active trade embargoes. Within Germany we offer standard shipping. For international orders we clarify shipping costs and delivery times individually. Customers from Austria and Switzerland order from us regularly.
Can I visit you?
We don’t run a retail store with regular opening hours. Visits are possible by prior appointment, though — send us an email at info@stoff3.de or give us a call. That way we can take enough time for you and discuss your project properly. On request, we can also send you samples within a few hours.
How can I see the garments before buying?
We have high-quality product photos on the website. Alternatively, you can arrange an appointment with us in Kassel to look at samples and garments in person. For larger orders we can also send blank samples on request, so you can check the material and quality in advance.
What is the difference between DTF, DTG, flex, flock and embroidery?
Each technique has its strengths: DTF (direct-to-film) enables photorealistic full-color and photo prints with no minimum quantity. DTG (direct-to-garment) prints directly onto the fabric, ideal for complex designs. Vinyl (HTV) printing is elastic and durable for single-color designs. Flock printing gives a velvety, three-dimensional feel. Embroidery is the highest-quality and most wash-resistant method for logos on polo shirts, jackets and caps. You’ll find all the details on our pages about DTF/DTG printing, flex/flock printing and embroidery — the links are further down this page.
Does Stoff³ offer B2B terms for companies?
Yes! From 30 pieces we offer attractive B2B terms with volume pricing. For regular clients, framework agreements are also possible, providing planning security and better conditions. We work with companies, clubs, medical practices, agencies and event organizers — you’ll find all the details on our B2B page.
How long does production take?
Printing: approx. 1 week after approval. Embroidery: approx. 2 weeks after approval (due to digitizing/punching). Very large runs can take a little longer — we communicate that transparently. Express is possible: printing from 1 business day, embroidery from 3–5 business days depending on complexity.
