Tips & Knowledge on Garment Decoration in Kassel
A warm welcome to the Stoff³ blog
We’re glad you’re here. With this blog we’re opening a new chapter at Stoff³ — and you’re part of it from day one.
We’ve been decorating garments in Kassel since 2018: t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, caps, workwear, club apparel and much more. It all started with our own streetwear brand Technostoff — that’s where we learned how to produce high-quality prints and embroidery that truly last. What began as a passion became a full-fledged garment decoration business in 2024: Stoff³.
Today we produce 100% in-house in Kassel, on industrial and commercial machines, with no outsourcing. Over 18,000 decorated garments speak for themselves.
What to expect from this blog
The Stoff³ blog isn’t a marketing channel — it’s a genuine knowledge archive. We share what we’ve learned over the years, so you can make better decisions when having garments decorated.
Techniques & processes
Which decoration process suits which textile? What’s the difference between DTF and DTG? When does embroidery make more sense than print? We answer these and similar questions in plain language, without jargon.
We explain:
- 3D embroidery: Why it’s the first choice for logos on polo shirts and caps, how it’s produced, and what to consider when preparing your files.
- DTF printing (Direct-to-Film): The most modern method for photo-realistic designs on almost any textile — no minimum order, with sharp detail reproduction.
- Vinyl printing (HTV) & flock printing: For single-color, precise designs. Flock gives a velvety surface, vinyl printing (HTV) is stretchy and especially durable on sportswear.
- DTF transfers: Ready-printed transfers for iron-on application at home — ideal for small runs and one-offs.
Tips for clubs, teams & schools
Organizing team apparel is a challenge: different sizes, different wishes, tight budgets. On the blog we show how clubs and teams get the most out of their order — from file preparation to volume pricing. We also have plenty of tips for graduation shirts and leavers’ apparel.
B2B & corporate apparel
Consistent staff apparel strengthens your brand image. But what does it really cost? Which processes are suitable for workwear? How do framework agreements work? For companies, medical practices and trade businesses, we explain the key aspects of B2B garment decoration.
Trends & inspiration
What are teams, businesses and brands wearing right now? Which colors and styles dominate the season? We regularly look at what’s happening in the textile industry — and filter out what’s genuinely relevant for our customers.
Why we do this
We believe: those who understand how garment decoration works make better decisions. And those who make better decisions are happier with the result.
That’s our standard — in production and on this blog.
